Our Local Experts say:

Mexican cuisine is not well known in Rio – however, it’s may be changing quickly. There is a chain of Tex-Mex restaurants spreading throughout Rio. 'Rota 66' is recapturing the adventure of driving (and eating) on Route 66 in the U.S.

As with all the Mexican restaurants in Rio, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, and fajitas are accompanied by fresh guacamole and nachos that tempt any lover of Mexican food. Wash it all down with a cerveza or a margarita or two and your evening will be one to remember.
