Keller Steak House is the first and probably the only genuine Steak House in Braşov, situated in the historic centre of the city, in a building dating from the late 1400s. Its name comes from the German word "Keller" - cellar, as the main hall is located in the basement. The restaurant’s specialty is the steak, tender and juicy, prepared by the chef from the best beef, according to each customer’s taste. In order to meet the most demanding tastes, the restaurant’s menu also includes chicken, fish, pork and lamb dishes. The food must, of course, be accompanied by a good wine, and for this reason the restaurant places at your disposal a list of over a hundred varieties of the finest quality. And as a perfect meal needs to end with something sweet, we recommend you to taste one of the delicious desserts prepared by the chef according to own recipes.

You are invited to choose from an extensive international menu consisting of organic black angus steaks (coming from cattle grown on the Transylvanian Hills), broiled to perfection, as well as a wide variety of beef, pork, chicken, fish, New Zealand lamb and Dutch veal. Until your juicy, tender medium to rare T-BONE or RIB-EYE steak will be ready, try a bottle of Fetească Neagră, the best Romanian traditional red wine, which will charm you with its wild cherry flavour and velvety ending. Unique in Braşov, the restaurant offers its customers the experience stemming from five years of quality services characteristic to a true Steak House. The cured sirloin, chine, chuck and the special cuts, like T-BONE and RIB-EYE, all participate to creating the restaurant’s specific cuisine. The meat is imported from Argentina and comes from one of the most popular beef breed of cattle in the world – Black Angus. The steak is prepared on a broiler, a special grill unique in Romania, considered to be the jewel of any Steak House. Out of the broiler, spiced and sprinkled with olive oil, the steak is ready to tame even the most demanding gourmand. Apart from the steaks, the restaurant’s menu proves to be extremely complex, but designed to satisfy any culinary requirement.

Restaurant’s specialties:

RIB EYE STEAK

The chuck is characterized as being one of the tenderest parts of a beef carcass, although we meet here many lines of fat that run through the meat fillet. However, if the meat is cooked at high temperatures, we are pleased to see that all the lines of fat dissolve in the meat’s composition, thus creating a delicious steak that will never be forgotten, due to its unique flavour.

T-BONE

T-Bones are the cutting of the beef loin and chine together. The cutting is done on the rib and the spine so that both the chine and the loin remain attached to a T-shaped bone (hence the name T-Bone).

STEAK KELLER

Cured Argentinean beef (Certified Black Angus Beef), two fingers thick, served according to the customer’s preference with rosemary roasted potatoes.

BALSAMIC LAMB CHOP

Marinated New Zealand lamb chops, grilled in the carcass (double rack) according to the customer’s preference, then jugged with honey-balsamic reduction and fresh rosemary and served with potatoes on stove, perfected with a wine made from selected grapes, aged for 12 months in oak barrels.

SURF AND TURF

Grilled beef and black tiger shrimps, seasoned with Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère wines.
