The amount of lounges and especially bars in Seoul is immense. Some of the best bars and lounges can be found in Itaewon, Downtown Seoul, Hongdae and Gangnam. Check the listing to find a bar or lounge worth visiting!

Neighborhoods in Seoul all have a Meokjakolmok, which literally means food alley. In these alleys you'll find three-five storeys of neonlit bars and restaurants. Some neighborhoods with large concentration of universities will have several streets lined up with restaurants, bars and lounges. And other areas such as Itaewon and Gangnam have up to a kilometer of bars and lounges on both sides of the street. You can see why it's hard to choose a place to go, but some places do stand out and we have tried to select the ones which are especially popular with locals.
