![]() Little Buddha OverviewLittle Buddha in Sharm el Sheikh is another offshoot of the famous Buddha Bar in Paris and the successful French inspired Asian drinking and dining venue is just as elaborate here as it is in the original.
As soon as you've entered this remarkable place with its monumental proportions, you'll be enthralled by the charm of its soothing, exotic atmosphere. The bar and lounge looks out over the sunken dining area where the gigantic Buddha - the bar's namesake - sits serenely enthroned.
The amber-colored lighting, rich mahogany furniture, Chinese and Japanese art objects, Khmer statues, decorated wood panels, lush reds and gold, luxurious fabrics and Portuguese mosaics all come together to create an opulent and refined décor.
In the Little Buddha your taste buds travel to distant lands as the chef calls upon his charms to create a culinary art score that skillfully combines exotic delicacies with high-class cuisine. Diners are free to choose from a selection of Japanese fusion, French, Asian and Pacific gourmet dishes but the emphasis is on relaxation, so if you choose to just share a couple of appetizers or a plate of sushi and drinks then no problem, Little Buddha is as chilled as the man himself.
After dinner why not head back upstairs and finish off the night with drinking and dancing as the venue turns more nightclub than restaurant and is open till the early hours.

January 2009 London Club in Egypt! Wasnt expecting that!
James Baker from Yorkshire, England
I love Sushi and over the years I have sampled it in that many countries around the world that I would say its not being too big headed if I class myself as a sushi connnoisseur. I really hope you bare that in mind when I say that this place serves the best sushi I have ever tasted! Price wise, being from England I would have to say it is cheap as chips, however it is a little pricier than the average meal in Sharm, but don?t let that put you off. The club itself was again great. When I visited they had the downstairs shut off so you will find yourself dancing round your handbag and rubbing up against complete strangers. Not to everyone?s taste, but to be fair that?s my definition of a good club. Returning to Sharm next year so will definitely be heading back!

November 2008 Wonderful place
Alan Gale from Worcester, UK
My wife and I went for a meal here last year (2007). The decor, the service and the food are fantastic. It is quite a bit more expensive than many of the restaurants in Na'ama, but for a special occasion or a special night out this place is well worth a visit. It is very quiet early in the evening, so getting a table early is no problem. I can't vouch for what it is like later on...

September 2008 Cool Place
Mikel from Amsterdam
Had a good night in Buddha Bar, this place really gets going quite late though because when we first arrived at about 11 it was still quite quiet but got going. Drinks aren't cheap at all, the interior is pretty sleek, the dj playing the latest music and a lot of tall Russian girls seemed to dominate the dancefloor which is never a bad thing!
