![]() TGI Friday's OverviewTGI Friday’s is located right next to the Hard Rock Cafe in the midst of the action in Naama Bay. If you haven’t been to a TGI’s before then under which rock have you been hiding? For this is the all-american dining experience with juicy steaks, burgers, ribs, fajitas, huge salads and an abundance of finger food such as chicken wings, garlic bread and potato skins. I personally recommend anything that comes with the Jack Daniels sauce...which is always delicious.
They don’t just go all out on the food side either they have a huge cocktail menu including the TGI Friday’s Ultimate cocktail selections which come in a huge glass and should see you through, well at least until the mains arrive when you might be needing another.
The restaurant always has a lively party atmosphere with good old American memorabilia on the walls, loud music and ‘Cocktail’ style bar shows. There is a spacious outdoor seating area but I would try and enjoy the air conditioning of the restaurant and come around 11.00 the tables and chairs are cleared for dancing and the DJ turns the music up loud for you to really let your hair down.
TGI Friday’s is a great place to celebrate with a large group of friends and you are guaranteed to leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. |

The only complaint I have is that I budgeted for this holiday way before I arrived. I had a reasonable budget to start with, that should have covered all my drinks outside, souvenirs, presents etc, but as I was staying in LUX 5 star all inclusive accommodation, and didn?t consider a budget for food. Well the minuet I walked in TGI's that all went out the window! I had every single meal in there and hard rock! The non alcoholic cocktails are great for the kids. There like giant slush puppies but with real fruit juice and presumably a lot less e-numbers. They only cost about ?2 Stirling each (but be ware over a fortnight, with three kids this can still bankrupt you) I would have to advise against the nachos, as you get about twelve tortilla crisps, so fine as a starter but not as a main. The fajitas however are to die for! They do also have an option for vegetable fajitas on the menu (unlike hard rock) so if like my self your a none meat eater, you will get a little bit of discount, which I see as only fair. In conclusion, great place, friendly atmosphere, gets a little wild on Fridays of course. But most importantly be ware, your hotel food will become a distant memory!
