This Slow Food cooking restaurant is run by Cilia family benefits from such a location as the surroundings are beautiful creating a perfect spot for romantic dinner on the delightful outside terrace or even business meeting inside under the vaulted ceilings and rustic and elegant décor. The menu is offers some traditional Sicilian dishes, but more adventurous guests can feast on pork belly, ravioli made with ricotta immersed in pork juices. The kitchen focuses only on the freshest produce including fish and meat cooked with skill, imagination and respect for tradition. Service and the staff are self-assured and very charming and there is a serious Sicilian-accented wine list boasting well over hundred bottles. The location may push prices up, but ultimately you get what you pay for.

Buona educazione e cibo di qualità

Siamo stati a cena il 16 di settembre dietro consiglio di amici e colleghi che avevano mangiato bene. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, mettendo a disposizione il seggiolino per il bimbo e proponendo un menù adeguato per il piccolo (cotoletta di pollo e patatine fritte). Noi invece ci facciamo portare due antipasti misti su base carne (caponatina leggera, tre assaggi di formaggi accompagnati da marmellata, frittatina di verdure, ricotta fresca), due piatti di pasta fresca con cernia e pomodorino pachino ed uno di spaghetti con pomodoro mandorle e basilico. Buona la carta dei vini ed anche quella delle birre artigianali. Chiudiamo con cannolo, torta al cioccolato e torta di ricotta. Tutto buono ed alla fine anche una scelta dignitosissima di grappe. Consiglio di visitarlo.
