Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, Singapore

Holland Village Information

Holland V, as it is lovingly referred to, is not actually a tourist spot of the usual kind, though its relaxed atmosphere and rich mix of interesting opportunities to explore make it worth a visit. It is highly favoured among the expatriate community, who flock to its eateries, cafés, bistros and specialty shops, tucked into little side streets and within the Holland Road Shopping Centre.

My Destination

The neighbourhood’s interesting array of art and craft shops, galleries, framing specialists, gift and novelty shops, tailors, tarot card readers and street cobblers is to be found along four streets in particular: Jalan Merah Sage, Holland Avenue, Lorong Liput and Lorong Mambong.

Expats are known to spend entire days here, going from breakfast to errand-running and meeting up with friends for lunch, then heading to the nail spa before a bit of late-afternoon grocery shopping. Very casual and comfortable.
