Hostel Celica

Internationally awarded Hostel Celica presents a state-of-the-art accommodation unit in the center of Ljubljana. Located in the old military prison today presents the world unique hostel with rooms in former prison cells. Hostel today presents a hub for young travellers and locals as includes a restaurant, an orient bar, a gallery, a concert venue and as such presents the Ljubljana’s architecture attraction.

Hostel Celica Accommodation

Celica accommodation units are furnished in the artistically renovated former prison cells, comfortable rooms and dormitory rooms. Altogether there are 90 beds available in 29 rooms, one of which is well adapted for disabled. There is 20 unique painted and furnished rooms, 5 bed room with private bathroom, five 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms and a dormitory with 12 beds and two bathrooms for women and men. An apartment has two separated rooms, a living room with a fold sofa for 2, a king bed for 2 and a nightroom which has one single bed and one double bed. Altogether there can be 7 people accommodated in the apartment which also features a private bathroom.

Hostel Celica Facilities

The atmosphere within the hostel is orientated for meeting and hanging with other cool travellers and locals while enjoying good food and fresh drinks. The bar opens its doors at 7 am and during the weekend at 12pm. Each Thursday and Friday they prepare cocktail parties and oriental pipes – shishas. The restaurant offers self serving breakfast, snacks, lunches, and dinners.

Its central location is a good opportunity to explore the city without any problems as most of the city attractions, bars, restaurants and clubs are within the walking distance. The hostel is less then 0.5 km away from central bus and train station. Hostel’s staff is available 24 hours. There is also a free parking lot for all the guests.
