Heading up My Destination Tanzania - Zina Dale

Zina grew up in Zimbabwe and has lived in Botswana, Saudi Arabia, Malawi and Tanzania for the last 20 years. In that time she has worked consistently in the tourism industry for safari companies as well as running her own lodge and tour company. During Zina's time in Malawi she was the principal organizer of a Rotary Conference where she had the luck and privilege of meeting Nelson Mandela, who was invited as the guest speaker. She moved to Tanzania 3 years ago and was fortunate to have the opportunity of being involved in the inception and management of the World's only tanzanite visitor centre based in Arusha.

Zina has 4 daughters who work and study in Australia and South Africa and last year got engaged to Zane, who has 3 daughters of his own based in Zimbabwe and the UK. Between all the girls there is never a dull moment and they all love coming home to Arusha where they normally cause chaos!

Tanzania currently attracts approximately 600,000 tourists a year from all over the world who come to discover the countries beautiful national parks and beaches which include Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar and Pemba. Zane is extremely supportive in Zina's decision to run a mydestinationinfo.com and franchise and the couple, who travel extensively, are at their happiest when they are off the beaten track and discovering something new.
