Babu's Camp Overview

Babu's Camp is an intimate, tented camp in Mkomazi, a perfect destination for those seeking peace and solitude, while enjoying Africa's beauty.

Babu's Camp Accommodation:

Accommodation is in only 5 large, walk-in luxury safari tents with en suite facilities. The tents are well-attended tents, each measuring 10 m long and comfortably furnished with wooden bed, wardrobe, changing area, safari chairs and a writing desk. Each tent has an ensuite bathroom with flush toilets and hot showers.

Babu's Camp Facilities:

Mkomazi National Park is an excellent birding destination and a place to walk.

Of great interest to many visitors, the option to visit the Rhino and Wild Dog breeding project set up by the George Adamson and Tony Fitzjohn Wildlife Preservation Trust which have been instrumental in the protection of the wildlife area and the conversion of the area in National Park status.

However, the Rhino Sanctuary/Wild Dog project exists as an independent, privately run not-for-profit organization and is in no way engaged in any business relationship with Babu’s Camp. If pre-arranged and acceptable to the Sanctuary management, it is sometimes possible to visit the Rhino Sanctuary and the wild dog project.
