Sea turtles spend almost all of their life at sea... dont miss your chance to get close to these ancient mariners as they start their long journey to adulthood.

Due to sea turtles being critically endangered in Tanzania, Sea Sense has developed an ecotourism initative that is raising vital funds for sea turtle conservation, providing employment in local communities and raising awareness of our natural environment.

Sea Sense is working in 6 coastal districts and the project is managed from a central office in Dar Es Salaam.

Sea Turtles are nesting in Mafia Island, Pangani and Temeke. Join us for an unforgettable sea turtle experience. Contact our office to find out when the next nest is due to hatch.
