![]() Pancho OverviewWith an incredible waterfront setting, the elegant Pancho restaurant in Playa de la Arena is about as close as you can get to eating on the beach without getting sand between your toes.
You might think they'd have learnt a thing or two about service, quality and ambience since opening back in 1963. And you'd be right.
This is no ordinary beachside restaurant serving quick snacks in-between bouts of bathing. Eating at this fantastic Tenerife restaurant is a full-on gastronomic experience, with the bonus of unequalled beach views.
If you really want to splash out, opt for the Gourmet Selection, a banquet of six dishes plus dessert (€38) that will show off the production and presentation talents of the whole team. However, if your appetite is a little more modest, you'll find plenty of other options, both creative and traditional.
Pancho could be called a Tenerife seafood restaurant; it could be called a Canarian restaurant; in fact it's a 'please-all' eatery of international standing and if you don't get yourself there at least once during your holiday in Tenerife you're certainly missing out.
We particularly recommend the Prawns and Leeks in Fruit Sauce followed by Steamed Hake with a Tomatoe Vinaigrette, washed down with a bottle of local plonk such as a light and crisp Brumas, or inf fact any of the local and international wines on the extensive menu. But that's just us. Try it yourself and let us know what your favourite Pancho dishes are by leaving a review above. Enjoy.
Opening Times:
Winter - 1pm - 4pm & 7.30pm -11pm Summer - 1pm - 4pm & 6pm - 11pm Closed Monday & all June. |
