The architect responsible was the famous Danish Architekt Theophil Edvard Hansen. He was awarded with a title for his great work of art and became Freiherr (Baron) von Hansen.

This historic building breathes history and stories, so if you have time a visit in the inside would be highly interesting - especially if you are interested in the political systems.

Here you will be able to get lively impressions of how and where Austrian politicians are at work – for example by watching, as a guest, the debates in the National and Federal Councils and in some of the committees.
