The City Hall Square becomes a meeting point not only for film lovers, but for anyone who wants to enjoy some time open-air. During the Summer especially, the Rathausplatz offers free movie displays for everyone!

But not only movies are offered - in front of the illuminated city hall, people get the chance to see a selection of classical super-hits ranging from opera and operetta to dance and concert performances!

There are concerts for lovers of any genre: classical, jazz, musicals or pop/rock songs. In 2012 songs of Adele, Anastacia, Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones and Ray Charles were performed!

If you are an opera lover, you will see highlights such as Puccini's "Tosca" with Angela Gheorgiu and Jonas Kaufmann (2011), Mozart's "Le Nozze Di Figaro" and "The Magic Flute" or also the biggest State Opera event of last year: Anna Netrebko and Elica Garance in Donizetti's "Anna Bolena".

Other light and lively entertainment is offered by works such as "the Gypsy Princess" of Kélmán or Lehár's "Merry Widow".

In addition to all this, a variety of restaurants will prepare specialities from every region, country and nationality - ready to offer you every best dish!
