Public Transport Vienna

Public transport in Vienna is one of the most efficient and best developed in the world and definitely the most efficient way to get around Vienna. It includes 5 underground lines, tram lines and bus routes. They are all extremely reliable and comfortable. It is especially good value for families during the Vienna school holidays as well as on Sundays and public holidays, all children up to 15 yrs (proof of age required!) ride for free. Children up to 6 years of age always travel for free on Vienna's public transport network.

What does it include? 72 hrs of free travel on all public transport routes in Vienna and more than 210 discounts in many Vienna's museums, heurige, cafés, etc. during that time. You will only have to pay €18.50 for this card - this is definitely a bargain.

Where can I buy Vienna Card? At the tourist information offices, in your hotel, at the advance sale points of the Vienna Lines in the main metro stations and online in advance.
