Our Local Experts in Whitsundays

Tammy Smith a bubbly and outgoing 46 year old has worked in a number of different fields most notably operating a successful 6 year business in family day care.

Tammy saw most of her family day care children through to school age and
decided to take a working holiday in Queensland, at the Whitsunday's world
famous HAYMAN Island Resort, Tammy became an afternoon/night
co-ordinator and housekeeping supervisor on the island and after nearly a
year, took up a more laid back position as gardener on Long Island where
her florristry skills, learned while on HAYMAN on her days off, came in
very handy when she was often asked to set up the Long Island beach
weddings, this was some what of a passion for Tammy, as it gave her a
chance to show off some of her romantic flair. She and her Partner
purchased a yacht which they kept moored at a mainland harbour and to which
they commuted on weekends to savour the joys and facilities of cosmopolitan
living. It was the enchanting and unforgettable time spent in
the region that caused them both to fall hopelessly in love it. Tammy sold
her home in New South Wales and packed her bags for the sub-tropical lifestyle
of North Queenslands beautiful Whitsundays with her family and joined the
Mydestination network to share her passion of the Whitsundays through
mydestination.com/whitsundays .

Tammy and her partner now have a beautiful 21 year old daughter, who has
yet to make the move and a gorgeous 4 year old son and are very excited to
have moved back to the Whitsunday's, which they describe as "truly
paradise on earth". While Tammy has travelled Australia extensively, she
has never travelled abroad and is looking forward to her first trip to the
next conference in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tammy looks forward to sharing her love and local knowledge of the
stunning Whitsundays, together with the knowledge of the locals, to the
rest of the world, she is also exited to be working with the crew from
MyDestination.com and all the other
franchisees in the network, which she believes is a fantastic network to be
part of.
