Well over 2000 foodies came to buy from the 30 plus stalls of locally produced food and drink in November. This brand new event was officially opened by local and nationally known journalists, Selina Scott, who is a champion of local producers and passionate about supporting quality food and drink. For the second event there is a new layout allowing the foodie crowd to have more room to talk to the producers and to move around the Milton Rooms, and be assure of a warm, dry visit, and importantly free entry and free parking.
The fabulous environment created by the stall holders and their produce really marks this market out as real quality. There is an impressive choice of rare breed meats, hams, breads and cakes, chocolates and biscuits, organic vegetables, honeys, chutneys, local cheeses, sloe drinks, oils, herbs and much more.
