May 2012 What a great experience!
Michelle Mook from York
I have attended Hotel Du Vin in York now on a number of occasions with a group of people and every time it has been exceptional. The hotel staff always look after us extremely well - are patient, attentive and relaxed. The service is always top notch. The hotel itself is really lovely with lots of little areas for you to sit either for a coffee, a meeting or with a group. The food has been great and I hear that their afternoon teas are also amazing and am looking forward to trying one soon!
If you've not been yet, go soon - you won't regret it.

May 2012 Treat Like Kings
Greg Lambert from York
We ate at Hotel Du Vin on a recent races day. We were part of a large group and had fairly tight turn around times in order to be at the races in time.
The staff understood our needs but never made us feel rushed which was excellent and guess what we made it the races on time!!
The food was fantastic. Portion size good with a really varied choice on the menu to suit all tastes.
Whether you are looking to use Hotel Du Vin for business or pleasure I cannot speak highly enough of the place. I use the hotel for meetings and have just had food in the bar before. I can honestly say everytime I set foot in the place they exceed my expectations.
Well done to all the team at Hotel Du Vin. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you again soon.

February 2012 Wow - Beautiful!!
Suzanne Dyson from Malton
My friend and I decided to catch up over lunch at the Hotel Du Vin recently, I had not eaten there for some time and had heard that they had a new menu available. I am so pleased that we went and can't wait to go again. Usually I would have a starter but as it was lunchtime I had the Lamb main course which was delicious, the presentation was amazing - not what I had expected either and it was gorgeous. My friend had the Fishcake with soft poached egg and this also was delicious and looked larger than I had expected. Because the main courses were so good we could not resist trying the desserts just to see what they looked like, as well as tasting them. We found it hard to decide which to order as they all sounded so interesting but eventually decided on the Banana Tartin and the Goats Cheese slice options. Again we were surprised and delighted when they arrived, both options were yummy!! I look forward to going again to try some of the other dishes. Thank you and well done.
