How to get to Harmony House Cookery School
Take the A19 south from York following the signposts for Selby. After passing through Escrick, take the right turn signposted to Stillingfleet.
At the Cross Keys Pub in Stillingfleet, turn right down the hill and over the bridge signposted to York. At the end of the bridge and opposite the Church turn left into The Green. Harmony House is situated 2nd on the right, with ample parking to the front.

In keeping with the village we have only a slate Harmony House sign to the right of the steps at the front of the house. There are no 'Guest House','Enjoy England,' or neon signs outside. The sign is illuminated
Please do not drive up the public footpath to the side of the house.

Stillingfleet can also be accessed via the B1222 through Naburn or Cawood. In both these cases turn on to the green opposite the Church gate.

Hilary is a member of the Royal society for Public Health (MRSPH)

Hilary launched Harmony House Cookery School in 2007 to share her passion for creating simply prepared dishes using fresh locally produced ingredients. The intention was to give individuals with little or no confidence the chance to learn a skill which has not been recently taught in schools.

Hilary is determined to show individuals that producing tasty quality food need not be difficult and does not need long fancy recipes with bizarre ingredients and combinations so loved by some of our celebrity chefs.

Harmony House Cookery School gives people the chance to not only learn, but to see Hilary demonstrate some of her favourite dishes. Alternatively Hilary is happy to demonstrate her ideas and share hints and tips at your own venue.

Great Weekend
Sue and Paul from Leeds

Just to say a big "Thankyou" for a w/end with a difference. It was lovely to share Friday evening with you and your family, and the "lively" get-together on Saturday morning was great. Saturday evening was the icing on the cake, the serious cooking, (and drinking), we all enjoyed cooking for our table. Was sorry to miss the fish Sunday as I enjoy it so much, Once again Hilary, "thankyou".

A day to remember
JANE THOMPSON from Selby

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the course last Saturday. The whole day was entertaining and informative, and the other students good company. I have already recreated many of the recipes in my own kitchen, as well as having confidence to try other recipes I may have shied away from in the past. I managed to roll the roulade successfully and impressed myself with the result!! I hope to persuade other friends and family to join me on a return visit before too long.JT
