Having lived and worked in various countries, Fiona Butler first came to the Algarve in 1991 and it was pretty much love at first sight. Seven years on the front line of tourism followed as a rep for Irish and U.K. operators. This experience proved invaluable in amassing a wealth of local knowledge and expertise, and allows Fiona to know exactly what people want when they visit the Algarve.

During the next years Fiona continued to work in tourism – specialising in trips and tours, incentives and team building, creating a vast network of contacts. Fiona loves the Algarve - it's people, it's food, countryside, beaches and traditions. All this accumulated expertise is now available on MyDestination.com/Algarve.
