Kites Ho! Everybody everywhere loves kite flying and Amsterdam is no different. The city has at least one shop that exclusively deals in kites. Big kites, small kites, funny-shaped kites, cheap kites, expensive kites, it's all there.

These kite shops will provide everything you'll need, apart from good weather, to fly a kite. Here's a tip, after shopping for kites, go to Vondelpark or the Amsterdamse Bos (forest) to fly them. Why? Because odds are, someone else is flying kites there too. If you're one for kite-fighting, this is maybe a good best place to spot a contender. May the best kite win!
