The Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia (REFBC) is focussed on creating solutions, sustainable adoption and responsible planning of land use and real estate market. Telephone: 604-688-6800 or toll free 1-866-912-6800.

The British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA) represents provincial issues relating to realtors with provincial member real estate boards. Telephone: 604-683-7702.

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is a government-owned corporation providing information mortgage loan insurance, mortgaged-back securities, housing policy and programs, and industry research. Telephone: 613-748-2000 or toll free 1-800-668-2642.

The Homeowner Protection Office (HPO) is a BC Crown agency responsible for licensing residential builders, administration of owner builder authorization and overseeing the benefits connected with residential construction industry and consumers.
