Welcome to ... Cape Town
Few cities can lay claim to as many spectacular natural attractions as Cape Town, and with a population as vibrant and inspirational as its features, it's no surprise that this beautiful city on the south-western tip of Africa is regarded as one of the world's premier tourist destinations.
Cape Town's most striking feature - the statuesque Table Mountain - is but one of hundreds of things to explore when in the Mother City. For the thirsty travellers are some of the world's greatest winelands; for the adventurous, there are a multitude of outdoor activities to tackle; and for the foodies? It's no secret that Cape Town is home to South Africa's best restaurants. Feeling lazy? Kick back on our beaches, catch a round of golf, or simply bask in the unique energy that defines the city.... read more

La Mouette
Posted by Tony May 2011
Without a doubt, the dining experience at La Mouette surpasses all other. The setting is both homely and luxurious and every patron is treated special. Chef Henry's food is amazing and the tasting menu provides excellent value for money. And whatever you do, you have to try the Cheese/Truffel Croquettes, they are divine. Each room has a cosy fire-place, so this restaurant is perfect for rainy winters and provides an excellent escape from reality. It has fast become my favourite restaurant in Cape Town - a real treasure!
Erinvale Golf Club and Golf Estate
Posted by Max Daebel Apr 2011
This golfing estate is absolutely the best you get in and around cape town. The course is in an excellent condition and especially in dry seasons, the fairways are perfectly green. The Erinvale hotel is a great place to stay, and the food inside those 2 restaurants is just awesome. I can really recommend the skelligs Erinvale burger. Simply awesome
Spier Wine Estate
Posted by Chris Wilkinson Apr 2011
Very much enjoyed the wine tasting. We had my grandson with us and so we chose Spier because of the petting animals. But - rip off prices for very little. It wouldn't have been so bad had the raptor section been included in the price. But no, that was a separate charge. Glad we didn't pay it because from what we were able to see of it, it wasn't much. This was just money for everything you wanted to do, including not being able to picnic if you hadn't bought your picnic from them. We made the mistake of buying a dozen bottles of wine to be sent to UK. We bought them on the 25th February and have only just received them after much chasing up. The first box arrived damaged and leaking and we wouldn't take delivery. Then they seemed to forget about us until 3 weeks later when we e-mailed to ask what was happening. Back came an e-mail containing a virus. Not amused and not impressed.
