Cape Town Information

Welcome to ... Cape Town
A few hours is all it will take to make you realise that Cape Town's pretty much the best city in the world. Think we're exaggerating? With one of the world's 7 natural wonders as its backdrop, and numerous travel accolades behind her name, it's hard to deny.
Soaking up rays on her salt-white beaches; peering off the edge of a sheer rockface overlooking the buzzing city; sampling the world's finest wines after a picturesque round of golf. You can shop till you drop, eat till you pop, and, when you're done with it all, rest your head in world-class hotels. The reality, though, is that a few hours is never enough. Heck, a lifetime is never enough. So sink your teeth in, take a look around, and get exploring all that the spectacular Mother City offers.... read more

i just want to thank you for a nice day of fishing although we didn’t get the big ones it was still an experience. We went on the G-cat (Makaira) with the Novon group on Tuesday 17 March. This was my first Houtbay tuna trip and will definitely not be my last (we usually fish at Sodwana), gonna get the friends together and plant the next trip down. Thank you again for your hospitality and professionalism, hope you bliksem the BIG ones this season.
Table Mountain Aerial Cableway
Posted by Johnny Feb 2012
This is an absolute must for anyone visiting Cape Town. However if you're feeling adventurous then walk up and take the cable car down. Make sure you go on a clear day to make the most of the breath taking views. Would be great to see a virtual Tour from the top!
Grand Café and Beach
Posted by Josna Grundling Jun 2011
We discovered this hidden treasure while on a pleasure cruise on the jolly roger 'pirate ship'. We were warmly welcomed by one of the waiters and without a reservation. The food was delicious, the service was great on our first visit and no so great on the second visit, in one week! Love the fact that it is literally on the beach, my little 4yr old son loved the sand, he was totally occupied while my husband and I enjoyed our meal! Food is pricey so definitely not your everyday venue. Sure to visit it again on our next trip to Cape Town!
La Mouette
Posted by Tony May 2011
Without a doubt, the dining experience at La Mouette surpasses all other. The setting is both homely and luxurious and every patron is treated special. Chef Henry's food is amazing and the tasting menu provides excellent value for money. And whatever you do, you have to try the Cheese/Truffel Croquettes, they are divine. Each room has a cosy fire-place, so this restaurant is perfect for rainy winters and provides an excellent escape from reality. It has fast become my favourite restaurant in Cape Town - a real treasure!
