Farolin Restaurant

The Farolin Restaurant, located within the Odjo D'Agua Hotel, is a superior restaurant offering spectacular ocean views. Farolin specialises in seafood and local Cape Verdean dishes.

The location is hard to beat. Located where the Vera Cruz lighthouse stood (farol is Portuguese for lighthouse), the restaurant exudes a strong nautical theme. The restaurant directly overlooks the ocean and provides a perfect setting for that special family or romantic meal. You can hear the ocean waves crashing against the rocks. One can choose to dine in the main restaurant with its open walls and romanticly lit candles, outside on the balcony, or even downstairs which has an outside terrace as well. You can't escape the view of the ocean! And don't forget to take a look at the nautical memorobilia that is scattered throughout the restaurant interior.

Farolin restaurant has a varied and extensive menu. Its main specialties are seafood and local Cape Verdean dishes. Start with an appetizer of seafood cream or stew conch, then choose a fresh fish--whether it's raw, grilled, or fried with sausage Tuna, the fresh lobster, or African fish, and then end your meal with fresh fruit or a flambe. Other choices include kebabs, pork dishes, pasta, or an omelette.
