Casa Diamond OverviewCasa Diamond is a modern house built with Costa Rican elements in mind, still including necessary amenities to make your vacation a comfortable one. The house has lots of outdoor space on the wrap-around decks where you will enjoy sensational coastal and mountain views. All of the doors open wide to allow for excellent air circulation and the altitude of about 1,000ft has the perfect temperature between the steamy beaches and cooler, higher mountains.
The upstairs is comprised of a designer kitchen, a living area (with satellite TV), a dining area, and a half bath. The downstairs area has both bedrooms, a full bath with tub, lots of dehumidified closet space, and a laundry room. Both top and bottom floors have a wrap around deck with the pictured view.
Casa Diamond is in a great location for those looking to get to know (or who already know) the area. Escaleras, between Dominical and Uvita, gives you access to surfing beaches, great snorkeling spots, rivers and waterfalls to be discovered, jungle hikes, bars, great restaurants and more. February 2012 Paradise!
Tonya Hart from Portland, Oregon
We stayed there in February 2011 and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful inside and out, and has the most incredible view. I spent almost an entire day out on the deck with a book and just enjoyed the surroundings. Dominical is a quick jaunt down the hill and has one of our favorite places to eat in CR; Tortilla Flats. If you make it there, be sure to try the banana pancakes. The Jolly Roger, a local bar/restaurant is also very close and has good food and company. Many ex-pats and English-speaking people hang out there, so it's a fun place to unwind and meet new, interesting people. We are planning another trip and can't wait to go back!
