Airports
Galicia has three international airports:
Santiago (Lavacolla- T: +34 981 547 500)
La Coruna (Alvedro - T: +34 981 187 315)
Vigo (Peinador – T 34 986 268 200)
These are all close to many of Galicia’s most popular tourist resorts. They are also relatively modern, clean and generally less busy than other major airports with good facilities including car parking,car hire, public transport, taxi services etc
Santiago airport is only 10 kilometres from Santiago de Compostela with regular flights from Aer Lingus,Air Europa, AirBerlin, Air Nostrom,Easy Jet,Iberia, Iberia Express,Orbest, Ryanair,Swiftair, Volotea and Vueling.
La Coruna airport is only 8 kilometres from La Coruna with regular scheduled services from Air Nostrom, Iberia,TAP and Vueling.
Vigo airport is 9 kilometres from Vigo with flights from Air France,Air Eurpoa, Air Nostrum,Iberia,Ibera Express, Orbest and Vueling.
In addition, Porto airport (Francisco Sa Caneiro – T 351 229 432 400) which is about 9.5 kilometres from Porto city centre, is only an hour and half away from the Galician border so it is feasible to travel via there especially if visiting the southern part of Galicia including the Rias Bajas.
TAP operates regular flights to most major European destinations as well as Easy Jet and Ryan Air.
