Further up the coastline are the villages of Seaview and Nettlestone. This is a lovely corner of the island, with welcoming pubs and fantastic views over the Solent towards Portsmouth from Seaview. Nettlestone is a little inland and is more residential. Within the area, there are some great pubs, restaurants, bakeries and gift shops. Seaview has a long pebble beach and slipway for lauching dinghys. Accommodation for tourists is usually of a high standard and although a wonderful place to stay, it is one of the quieter tourist areas due to being less well-known than the larger towns. Seaview is very popular for dinghy sailing and watersports.
