Greenhouse Books in Kadikoy was founded in 1996 by American expat Dr. Charlotte McPherson who came to Turkey over 30 years ago and now has dual citizenship. The store houses an enormous range of titles at cover prices or less.
Charlotte came to complete her masters thesis in Turkish history and language and the store is now co-owned by British actuary Marion James and Charlotte. Greenhouse stocks one of the largest selections of popular English language books in Turkey and the largest selection of titles on the Asian Side of Istanbul.
