Great place for kids to play. Good supervision on weekdays. Contacts worked for us. Staff willing to help and even taught one of our kids how to swim today.

Forodhani House was the perfect place to stay this september, as I needed to sleep, relax, after a much busy period. To my mind, the best location possible in Lamu, as you have all sea-views, comfort and service, the beach at your feet and Peponi terrace very close.

Of the 12 days we had 10 days of rain, a lastiama but it is not usual for so much rain.The hotel is approximately 3.5 kilometers from the city and to reach Taxi 1100Ksh or with tuc tuc 300Ksh l bus around 30Ksh.The hotel, very clean, the room well with some details, but without importance.The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner all very tasty, just not as much variety and repeats itself every week( breakfast was always the same) .The bar had no choice of drinks. The presonal very helpful, courteous and friendly, the entertainment team mmm, could do more with 10 days of rain you get bored, they simply do what the program. If you want to do a safari, with the guys from the beach 100 to $ 150 less per head is very good (with Lucas) The beach is so beautiful that to put up with the guys who want to sell you all are a little pesados.Pero in conclusion is a good choice this hotel.

De los 12 dias teniamos 10 dias de lluvia, una lastiama pero no es para usual tanta lluvia.El hotel esta a unos3.5 kilometros de la ciudad y para llegar Taxi 1100Ksh o con tuc tuc 300Ksh l bus unos 30Ksh.El hotel, muy limpio, la habitacion bien con algunos detalles pero sin importancia.La comida, desayuno almuerzo y cena todo muy sabroso, solo que no tanta variedad y se repite todas las semanas( el desayuno era el mismo siempre).En el bar no tenian variedad de bebidas. El presonal muy atentos, amables y simpaticos, el equipo de entretenimiento mmm, podian hacer algo mas con 10 dias de lluvia te aburres, se limitaron a hacer lo del programa. Si quieren hacer un safari, con los chicos de la playa 100 a 150 dolares menos por cabeza anda muy bien (con Lucas)La playa muy bonita eso asi hay que aguantar a los chicos que te quieren vender de todo son un poco pesados.Pero en conclucion es una buena opcion este hotel.
