Guests love to relax at the Lazybones eco-bar and restaurant. With a profusion of plants, big colourful cushions and hammocks, and soft music in the background - this is an ideal place to eat, chill out, relax and read. A super menu is offered each day and a buffet lunch is usually served at weekends. Smoothies, fresh juices, cocktails, beers and liquors are offered.

Live music is sometimes offered and there is a games room with a darts board and pool table. There is Satellite T.V. so sports lovers won't need to worry about missing that all important sports event.

Camp Carnelleys Accommodation:

The camp prides itself on being eco-friendly with each accommodation designed to fit in with the local surroundings in an unobtrusive and harmonious way.

Each of the old BANDAS comfortably sleeps up to 6 and has an en-suite bathroom. Bedding, blankets, lamps & mosquito nets are provided. A private garden is there and has it's own garden furniture to help make your stay relaxing and comfortable.

The 7 NEW BANDAS contain a large double bed and 2 single beds with an en-suite bathroom and comfy veranda with a great view of the lake. They are very private being situated quite far from one another. These tend to be popular with their unique and rustic charm so it is probably a good idea to book them in advance if possible.

The COTTAGES are perfect for a romantic get-away sleeping two in absolute comfort. Just like the banda's they are fully furnished with bedding, blankets, lamps and nets.

For those wanting to sleep under the stars and listen to the sounds of Africa, an inexpensive and ideal option is to bring your own tent and use the Carnelley's CAMPSITE. It's fully equipped with powerful, steaming hot showers and clean flushing toilets. Whatever your choice of accommodation, you can be sure of getting a great view of the lake.

Lastly, Carnelley's also have DORMITORIES that sleep up to eight in comfort. They offer basic bedding & sheets and guests can either self cater or eat at the "Lazy Bones" bar & restaurant.

Camp Carnelleys Facilities:

Camp Carnelley's isn't just a campsite, there is also the "Lazybones" bar and restaurant and excursions can be arranged through the camp. A range of different accommodation is offered from low budget camping up to luxury cottage's, banda's and dormitories. All accommodation is located right next to the lake.

The "Lazybones" Bar and Restaurant has an excellent reputation and offers a range of cuisine suitable for all guests. Laundry facilities are available.

There's plenty to do at Carnelley's; whether you feel like relaxing at the picturesque camp, taking a boat trip or fishing on the lake, rock climbing in nearby Hells Gate National Park, hiking up the extinct volcano, Mount Longonot which is nearby or organising a safari further afield. There are so many things to do the only problem is fitting it all in! Camp Carnelley's is located within easy access to all the major National Parks so you really will be spoilt for choice.
