Sunway is a town in Klang Valley of Selangor, developed by the Sunway City Group of Companies (Sunway Group). Sunway is well-connected to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam via a network of expressway. The commonly used expressway are Federal Highway, LDP, NKVE and NPE, among others. Sunway is an integrated city containing hotels, shopping, dining, recreation and education facilities to serve its residents.
Sunway is well-equipped with accomodation for tourists and guests to the city. Sunway Hotel Resort and Pyramid Tower Hotel are the most common. These are 4 to 5-stars hotels preparing comfortable accomodation and service to guest visiting Kuala Lumpur.
Just nearby, travelers can shop in Sunway Pyramid. It is the only shopping malls which incorporates Egyptian architecture in its outlook. Sunway Pyramid is easilly recognised by the sphinx-like huge lion bust at its entrance. Sunway Pyramid was the first mall (and probably the only one today) to incorporate an ice-skating rink. The mall also has a 48-lane bowling alley and 10 cinema halls. Outside the mall entrance, is where some fine restaurants, cafes and pubs, are situated. It comes alive during the night.
