
	Southport Villa and Gardens Overview Located in the traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk in Malta, the Southport Villa and Gardens occupy a century old private residence that has been converted into multipurpose venue – restaurant, wine bar, café, delicatessen and large function area. Each carefully designed and managed venue in the Southport Villa complex has its own identity and, while sharing values, operate as separate entities. The restoration of the Southport Villa and Gardens was a painstaking process and no shortcuts were taken to retain authentic features and evoke the venues history. The contrast of modern and classic furnishings gives a chic and happening atmosphere to the place. These contrasts represent the blend of art, music and fine food that Southport set out to create in the South of Malta. Leonardo – Restaurant Upon entering the Southport complex, a flight of stairs will take you to the in-house fine dining restaurant aptly named Leonardo (an imposing replica of Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘Last Supper’ is its main decor feature). The elegant dining room is a minimalist affair with a classic soul. The menu is a medley of Mediterranean, Maltese and Eastern influences, creating refreshingly original dishes which somehow also have a homely feel to them. With an extensive selection of wines from the new and old world as well as a number of local favourites, you are bound to find a vintage that tickles your fancy. Vinolounge is a laid back place to socialise with friends over a good bottle of wine and a choice of platters available. Whether it is the chic interiors or the refreshing garden terrace, Vino Lounge is an ideal venue to shake off the day’s stress or enjoy your weekend evenings. Live music is available on most Fridays. Open daily from 7pm till late. Concept Cafe – Café and Snack Bar This casual eatery is ideal for a quick lunch or a cuppa at any time of the day. The Concept Cafe menu includes light snacks, pastries and refreshments as well as daily specials varying from fresh fish to traditional local dishes. Choose between the lovely gardens in the backyard, the contemporary welcoming interiors or the front terrace to watch the world go by across the lovely Marsaxlokk bay. Open daily from 9am till late.
