Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum is one of the most intriguing touristic highlights in the whole of the Maltese Islands. After a tour of the Museum our visitors can proceed upstairs to the roof where a pleasant coffee shop is situated and is reserved exclusively for the visitors and ‘friends’ of the Palazzo.

The view from our coffee-shop is simply enchanting. It is very likely the highest coffee-shop on the Islands. The visitor can take in practically the whole of Malta, as well as a splendid view of the Cathedral. Visitors interested in heritage, art and history will definitely enjoy the reading material available on the tables. Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti, the managers of the Museum and of the coffee-shop, provide issues of ‘Treasures of Malta’, a journal published by the same Foundation three times a year, for the enjoyment of the café visitor.

The Café menu includes sandwiches and ftiras which are prepared as you wait, as well as pies and a soup of the day. Finish off with the cherry on the cake (literally!), by choosing from our choice of cakes available, all of which are made by the famous Fontanella, one of the best cake-makers on the Islands. Our friendly staff will welcome you warmly and make sure you have a fantastic experience.

If you’re thinking of bringing a group to visit the Museum, you might wish to combine the tour with lunch. We provide packages both for lunch and snacks, depending on the time you have available and on your preference. We can even tailor-make a package for you if you’d like to propose a different sort of menu for your group.

The roof-top café may also be hired for small and exclusive private functions, both during and after regular museum hours.
