Jessica White (Head of Content and Multimedia)

After completing her Media Studies degree at University in London, Jessica moved to Marbella in 2007 wanting a change from the London rat race and to live somewhere that offered her a more balanced lifestyle.  Journalism was what she most enjoyed during her degree and she knew she wanted to continue doing what she loved when she looked for employment in Marbella.

She began her career in Spain writing for one of the most successful magazines on the Coast and it was at the magazine that Jessica and Fay met and became good friends. Working for the magazine and writing about the different aspects of Marbella gave Jessica knowledge of its attractions and local hotspots so when the opportunity came to work with MyDestination.com/Marbella, she jumped at the chance to further her career and take on the new challenge of writing the most up-to-the minute information about her town.

Laura-Jane Bruce (Head of Sales and Social)

With a university degree crammed into her already overloaded suitcase, Laura-Jane relocated from Bath to the Costa del Sol 3 years ago and was almost instantly offered a job working in the magazine industry. She was quickly promoted to an editor position, gaining an invaluable insight into how Marbella businesses work and market themselves and developing relationships with the clients personally.
 
Fancying a change of pace, she became an editorial co-ordinator for a local newspaper, but soon missed the creativity of working more closely with people on the coast so gladly accepted an offer of becoming to join the team at My Destination Marbella.
 
For a bit of a newbie, she has settled into Marbella life pretty quickly, juggling working, socialising and networking, and looking after clients is what she does best. For those of you who know her, or for those of you who don’t, she’s got all the know how, all the contacts and bags of enthusiasm to ensure Marbella retains its status as the hottest destination.

Fay Jones (Managing Director)

Fay moved to the south of Spain in 2001 having already undertaken a fair share of travelling around the globe and with her studies in Politics, Economics and Modern languages (French, Spanish and Portuguese) under her belt. She decided to look for employment opportunities in Spain as it was the language, country and culture that she most enjoyed studying at University, (or maybe it was just all about the Rioja and the Paella)!!
 
Her career in Spain was initially centred around the world of Magazine publishing; she managed and then went on to become a publisher of the most successful and avidly read English Language publications on the Costa del Sol.  There are not many businesses in Marbella that Fay doesn't know personally and her years of dedication to the social circuit in her magazine days means that she always knows where to find the life and soul of the very best parties in town!
 
Fay not only owns and manages the My Destination Marbella site but has grown within the company taking on the role of Head of Commercial within My Destination HQ.  She works with the other destinations around the world continually inspiring them to excel and achieve great things with their sites with her boundless enthusiasm and knowledge of online marketing in the world today.
