Puente Romano Overview

The Puente Romano lies two miles west of Old Town Marbella and is a 35-minute drive straight from Malaga airport. The hotel is built in typical Andalucian-style with white washed buildings scattered amongst sub-tropical gardens, waterfalls, lakes and fountains. The greenery winds its way down straight onto the beach and the hotel´s Beach Club.

The Puente Romano is a quality hotel deserving its membership as one of the Leading Hotels of the World.

Puente Romano Rooms:

The Puente Romano features 274 guestrooms set throughout the gardens in small three storey buildings. Rooms are spacious, with marble floors and private terraces. They may look a little dated but they come with all the modern amenities you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The suites are particularly special spreading out across three floors with their own private terrace, jacuzzi and sauna.

Puente Romano Restaurants & Bars:

Guests of the Hotel Puente Romano enjoy a complimentary champagne buffet breakfast each morning.

Restaurant Café El Puente - Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering a fusion of French and Mediterranean cuisine, this café is located next to the old Roman bridge and swan pond and serves an à la carte menu daily.

Ristorante Roberto - Reservations are recommended at this fine dining Italian restaurant. Facing the sea, Roberto’s sets a romantic candle- lit scene and specializes in freshly prepared pasta dishes.

Beach Club Buffet - Following the path through the gardens, guests will find the Beach Club. The restaurant is surrounded by sub-tropical vegetation, palm trees and wonderful sea views from its beach front location. It offers a complete lunch buffet of Mediterranean specialties, seafood, meats, salads and freshly baked local pastries.

Bar La Piscina – located by the main pool serves a continental breakfast as well as other light dishes and drinks throughout the day.

Puente Romano Facilities:

If you love your sport then this is the place because on site is the Puente Romano Tennis club with ten courts (8 clay and 2 Quick) and 4 paddle courts. They also hold celebrity tournaments here in the summer that always provides for a great day’s viewing (last year good old McEnroe was throwing his toys out of the pram).

Three outdoor pools in the grounds, a fitness centre with sauna and Turkish baths and all kinds of water sports running from their Beach Club. If you are a golfer then you have exclusive use of the Marbella Club Golf Resort which really is a treat worth taking advantage of.

Great Courts!

If you are a tennis lover then this is certainly your hotel. The courts are beautifully maintained (both clay and hardcourt) and the surrounding landscaped gardens are a privilege to be around but this is a Leading Hotel of the World after all.
