Visa Information

Foreign tourists will need to obtain a Tourist Visa to enter India before arrival from their nearest Indian Embassy (Visas cannot be issued at airports or border crossings). Applications can be made online, by post or in person.

Make copies of your passport, visa and other important documents and keep them separate from the originals. As a precautionary measure, carry the originals with you at all times.
