Panarottis

After expecting the good food that Panarottis usually serves, we were met with an untrained waiter, a kitchen staff that did not know what ingredients went on what dishes, and a manager that not only took almost half an hour to come to our assistance, but also seemed very uninterested in what we had to say. Very disappointed.

Omujeve Hunting Safaris
Posted by Jerad Nov 2011
HI Readers,
My name is Jerad, and I first started visiting Omujeve Safaris in 08'. Since that time, I have traveled in Africa extensively, making 1-2 trips per year, and for often in excess of 3-4 at a time. I have been to multiple lodges and camps, 7 total, in 3 different countries, and I have yet to find one that measures up to Omujeve!
I believe you will find it difficult to find a better run operation in Southern Africa. I have personally hunted with Omujeve for over 30 different species, and have taken many animals that have placed high in the record book, including a world record free-range 19.5" springbok. If I had to list all the sizes of the trophies I've taken with Omujeve, I would need 2 hrs. They have really worked hard to meet my expectation for trophy quailty, and together we have accomplished many of my hunting goals.
In addition to excellent hunting, Omujeve's lodging and staff are great. There are many parts to a safari experience, and sitting around a dinner table, lounge, firepit, or bar after a long day of hunting truly wraps up a day in the field. Their lodge is adorned with trophies from the surrounding areas, and really gives the feel of old world adventure. The 5-star accomodation is blended with a personal/family style atmosphere that enables the client to experience the upper echelon of luxury paired with down home attitude. My girlfriend who's a completely city girl, continues to ask to return to their incredible rooms, including 4 poster beds, large tubs, and open rock wall showers. Once you experience Omujeve, many places will fall short on many levels. I would definitely describe this place as a top destination, and I find myself comparing all others to it.
The Krugers of Omujeve Safaris, continually surprise me by there eagerness to improve upon their already incredible operation, as every year when I return, I find that something has been built or changed. They are continually developing new hunting grounds including areas near windhoek, massive concessions in the damaralands, and soon to be areas in the caprivi.
Once you book with Omujeve you will surely become a friend...and the world of hunting Africa will open up to you. I started some 4 years ago, and are approaching completing my big 5, plus numerous other species. When I think of home in Africa, I choose Omujeve...and now not only do I come for the hunting but to visit my good friends the Krugers.
