La Focaccia
Posted by Alex Feb 2012
La Focaccia opened a few weeks ago so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed the focaccia bread is baked fresh every day and is light and tasty. I ordered mine topped with Speck which is a type of Italian Ham (similar to Prosciutto) and cheese it was excellent! If your looking for an alternative to everyday pizza, La Focaccia is the place. Many times the owner or one of his assistants is out in front offering free samples to passersby.
Armando's Mexican Cuisine

Good food! I loved the warm salsa that is served with the tortilla chips after you are seated. The soft tortillas are blue corn and very tasty overall well worth the visit if you a craving some Mexican while in San Juan.
Inarú Restaurant
Posted by Fred Jan 2012
I had the opportunity to lunch at this new restaurant in Old San Juan. Overall, I was very very satisfied with the experience. The atmosphere is casual but elegant with great music playing in the background. First they start you off with some warm pumpkin Arepas that were out of this world. Next as part of the lunch special came the salad. Mix greens with tomatoes, cucumber and red onions with a light dressing. The salad was extremely fresh and a good size. My main course was Chicken Taino 2 pieces of tender stewed chicken in a very savory rum sauce accompanied with Mamposteado rice. Again very delicious and the portion was very satisfying. I left Inarú stuffed and contented, this restaurant is well worth the visit if you are in Old San Juan.
