Puerto Rico is the nightlife capital of the Caribbean; Puerto Ricans were born to party. In Old San Juan the Salsa vibes last into the wee hours. For a less hectic atmosphere the Santurce area and the Condado-Isla Verde strips are ideal.

The theaters, fine restaurants and hot clubs are not limited to the San Juan area. The vibrant nightlife in Luquillo and Piñones are a local favorite. Students are drawn to Boquerón in the southwest; families can spend an evening at La Guancha in Ponce. Or head to Vieques for some night fun on the beach.
