Samseongdong

Samseongdong is home to the largest underground shopping mall in Asia, a multiplex cinema, theater, aquarium, 7 Luck Casino and numerous luxury hotels. It is taking up the area southeast of the Han river. A busy business district with green urban parks, world heritage sites and ancient temples amidst the hustle and bustle.

Landmark: Korea World Trade Tower

The Samseong Area is most known for being home to COEX Convention & Exhibition Center Complex. Several top-notch international hotels are ready to welcome visitors and if you are feeling lucky why not try 7 luck Casino where food and drinks are free.

Connected to Samseong Subway Station, The Samseong Area is easy to get to and there is even a city air terminal with direct buses to and from both Gimpo and Incheon Airport.

The COEX Mall caters to everybody's taste and pick, since it is home to more than 260 shops, including a bookstore, aquarium and over 100 restaurants. A great place to bring children by the way.

Connected with COEX Mall is also Hyundai Department Store which brings luxury shopping at its finest and Lotte COEX Duty Free Store - the only duty free store south of the city.

Right across from COEX Convention & Exhibition Center Complex is Bongeunsa Temple. If you feel like visiting a tranquil mountain temple in the heart of busy Seoul, you should go to Bongeunsa. The temple used to be the largest one in Seoul during the Joseon Dynasty and it still boasts of its authority.

Local's tip: Visit Samneung Park and the Royal Tombs, it's a green oasis and an UNESCO World Heritage Site in the middle of Seoul.
