visited sharks bay last march going back this april! different hotel but mainly so in walking distance to soho square. its nice to be able to have a walk from hotel and soho square is only 5min walk you can have a stroll around the shops and not feel that you have to go and look or bad if you dont visit shops! also your duty free shop to visit within 24 hrs of landing as long as you take your passport. Its sprayed every night to keep down the mosquitoes. only got bitten when outside sharks bay!! hope this is helpful to new visitors to the fantastic eygpt!
Went to this track twice whilst staying in Nabq Bay, the actual set up is superb, the only one downside was the lad who videod and took pictures sold us blank discs, didnt find out till we were home, at £20 a time he could of actually put some stuff on the discs
Had a great 11 days at the Maderna made better by the diving, Tango is a supurb guide/teacher/instructor and an all round nice guy, but yes the equipment needs servicing, stage 1's leaking, regs making noises, BCD hoses leaking, and inconsistant air levels in tanks.
The Millonhope is a must do dive it was awesome, Tiran Island trip have done before, but we did'nt actually go near it anyway, but the kids enjoyed it, food on the boat was top notch too.
As for prices, you can haggle them down if you really want to, but the more you spend the cheaper it gets, but its not exspensive anyway, but remember the equipment is not up to much so you pays you're money and takes you're choice.
if you do dive with them book with the guys around the pool 1st so they get some commission, they any extra with the dive guide, share the wealth.
Night dive was pretty cool too. But don't forget he's name Tango, can't miss him he has dreads...Top Bloke
