From 12 Jun 2014 To 15 Jun 2014
Returning for the sixth time, the Beerfest 2014 is a highlight for all beer lovers in Singapore and the region. With over 400 different beers from all over the world, the Beerfest Asia is a great opportunity for companies in the retail, hospitality and F&B industries to try out new beer products with trade suppliers and wholesalers. The festival will also showcase an important offering of whiskeys at the Whiskey Lounge.
There will be also some great entertainment with international and local tribute bands (including Ice Cold Chili Peppers and nOasis from Australia), world class stand-up comedy acts, beer auctions, talks, tasting workshops and delicious food. This event, which attracted in 2013 more than 30,000 visitors, has become one of the most popular events in Singapore and promises this year even more action and fun.
Kids are also welcomed on Sunday 15/06. At the Brew Kids Playard (next to the Comedy Lounge), kids aged between 4 and 12 years old can be taken care of and entertained for just S$5 with some art and craft activities, music instrument workshops, ball pool and an indoor bouncing castle.
For all your purchases at the festival such as beer, drinks, food and merchandise, you'll need to get your special chips (Beerfest currency) at the Cashier Booths (using cash or credit card).
Unused chips may be cashed back at the festival if you have a minimum of S$30 worth of chips in value. Please note that only 80% of the total value will be returned in cash.
The Comedy Club Asia is flying in 5 international comedians in addition to 2 Singaporeans acts, performing a total of 7 shows over 3 days – guaranteed laughter delivered on site at Beerfest Asia!
The programme at the Comedy Lounge features solo shows by two comedians at the top of their games – Papa CJ (India) and Colin Cole (Australia). In addition to this we are having a first of its kind of show with the Singapore Vs. Malaysia Comedy Cup. Sons of Singapore Fakkah Fuzz and Jinx Yeo battle it out against Malaysia’s Goodflers Kavin J and Rizal Van Geyzel in the comedy ring to see who can roast one another’s country the best. This will bring the age-old rivalry between the two nations to a new side-splitting level. Be warned, this is going to get nasty and expect some bellyaches!
