Jurong Bird Park

Located in the Western part of Singapore, the famous Jurong Bird Park has been the largest bird park since 1971. In terms of number of residents, the park is home to more than 5,000 birds of 380 species, of which 13% are classified as threatened. It's also the second largest bird park in terms of land at 20.2 hectares (49.9 acres), following Germany's Vogelpark Walsrode.
Gaze at the African Waterfall Aviary, the world's largest walk-in aviary with over 1,000 native African birds flying freely all around you during feeding time.
With plenty of seasonal shows, there is much to be seen and explored at the Jurong Bird Park, like the new Birdz of Play, which is a bird-themed water playground for children. Be entertained by the Birds n Buddies Show, which features the largest number of performing birds. Come face-to-face with 7 different species of pelicans, including the endangered Dalmatian pelican at Pelican cove. Learn some fun bird facts and artifacts at the Bird Discovery Centre.
Jurong Bird Park is committed towards conservation of various bird species through research, education and breeding programs. A leading park for avian conservation in South East Asia, Jurong Bird Park has received many accolades. It's also the only Park in the Asia Pacific to have an Avian Hospital.
