Therefore, each destination is run by a team on the ground who have their fingers on the pulse and write from a first-hand experience, whether they are trying out places to eat, visiting sites of interest, undertaking activities, exploring hidden 'secrets', and speaking to the locals who are 'in-the-know'. Our local experts take every effort to accurately capture this information through photography, videos, virtual tours and writings. It can be truly said that our content is fresh, local and 'hand-made'.

Our Local Experts in Slovenia

Ivo Kovacic graduated with distinction at the Faculty of Economics in Maribor and has signed in a master programme in Bank and Financial management at the University of Ljubljana. Ivo gained valuable experiences while studying in Denmark for six months and working at one of world's major consulting companies. With great passion for travelling he is ambitious and motivated to work in his own business, broaden his working experiences thus he decided to join the My Destination network which he believes is an ideal stepping stone in his career and will enable him to build a successful long-term cooperation within the network.

Rok Kovacic finished graduate studies at the Economics Faculty in 2010 and worked as a market manager at one of Slovenia's leading HVAC companies. Enthusiasm for traveling and wish for building his own company has lead him to join My Destination Slovenia team at the end of 2011. As the commercial manager he is establishing quality relationships with local companies all over Slovenia. Together with his brother Ivo they are building a strong network of tourism companies with one goal in mind – becoming the leading information website for tourism in Slovenia. To extend his managerial knowledge Rok also enrolled into a master program at Economic Faculty in Ljubljana.

Ivana Cosic graduated at Singidunum University, Business Faculty in Belgrade, Serbia and moved to Ljubljana where she has continued her studies at Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. While studying in Belgrade she was also entrepreneur providing organizational and logistics support during shoots so she decided to continue working in this field. After finishing her second year of master studies in Slovenia, she got a luring opportunity to gain experience in event management and marketing in one of the biggest publishing groups in Middle East - ITP Publishing Group, Dubai, UAE. Due to her travel passion and organization skills she joined My Destination Slovenia to help Ivo and Rok as an Event and Social Media Manager.
