My Destination Slovenia is part of the My Destination network. A global network of sites created in 2006 by two young entrepreneurs, James Street & Neil Waller. My Destination is focused on providing websites that offer unrivalled levels of local information, actually written by locals. Each site is run by a team on the ground in each destination who have their fingers on the pulse and are providing real time information. The websites combine accurate information on the local area and businesses with the added usability of an online booking engine, offering travellers a one-stop shop where they can research and book their holiday on a single website.
The websites are fresh and simple in design, with a firm focus on quality and quantity of content. Reviews are always written first-hand and every effort is taken to obtain the best images and information available in order to present a true representation of the services on offer. User-generated content and feedback is also built into the website, building upon content quantity and accuracy; major features of the service we provide.

Heading up My Destination Slovenia - Ivo Kovacic

Ivo Kovacic recently graduated with distinction at the Faculty of Economics in Maribor and has now signed in a master programme in Finance management at the University of Ljubljana. Ivo gained valuable experiences while studying in Denmark for six months and working at one of world's major consulting companies. Ambitious and motivated to start his own business and broaden his working experiences he decided to join the MyDestinationInfo franchise network which he believes is an ideal stepping stone in his career and will enable him to build a successful long-term cooperation within the network.

Rok Kovacic is Ivo's twin brother and besides the looks he shares with him similar interests. At the moment he is finishing his studies in economics and developing his business skills as a sales manager at one of Slovenia's leading air-conditioning companies. He likes traveling and is a passionate sportsman; he has been a professional handball player for the last couple of years. Interested in running a private business he is stepping into a cooperation with his brother and joining the young My Destination Slovenia team.

LEA VOLOVEC is a young lawyer and is currently representing and working for their family company. Last couple of years she spent studying and working abroad. She was specializing her studies in Sweden and in the past year she was working at the European Central Bank in Germany as a lawyer-linguist and a national law expert. After returning back to Slovenia she wanted to combine both, her legal knowledge and desire to promote Slovenia to foreigners, thus she decided to cooperate with Ivo and Rok and in this way to contribute to the recognition of Slovenia in Europe and throughout the world.
