Corto & Nero Overview

A young couple runs this charming cafe in the 4th district of Vienna, close to many Viennese top attractions, i.e. the "Naschmarkt" or the Belvedere Palace.

The atmosphere is cozy, down to earth yet chic and urban - here you find time to rest, relax and treat yourself! No matter if you come brunch, a light lunch, a cup of coffee and pastries or even a pre-dinner drink - if you are in the neighbourhood and you are ready for a break - this is the place to go!

The owners prepare everything themselves and go quite out of their way to put their personal touch into their food: all is prepared with high quality and local ingredients, and, above all, it is always fresh! You will notice the difference immediately.

Try the carrot ginger soup, or the spinach/goat cheese quiche, or simply the classic Italian apperitivo: Prosciutto e Antipasti with a glass of good white wine or prosecco! What more do you need....?

The desserts/pastries are unbeatable....we strongly recommend you try the home made brownies (warm!) or poppy seed chocolate tart - exquisite!

Most of Corto & Nero's guests are locals, artists from the trendy neighbourhood or business entrepreneurs. They have come and met here for years, hence the atmosphere is always buzzling and positive.
