I highly recommend this place. It is where exquisite meets affordability. It's a nice, quiet, very clean, comfortable, luxurious and good-value for money accommodation in the most convenient area in Harare .I forgot completely that I was in the bustling capital city. The owners are friendly, warm and welcoming .The three things I like when I’m on holiday are , 1) a clean bathroom and 2) my space and 3) good food. This place has this and more, and the breakfast choice was superb. My room offered privacy and convenience. The conventional yet modern style emanating from the artwork, the sculptures and the paintwork makes the place feel so cozy – it is home away from home. As I left I was already planning to visit again. I recommend Jacana Gardens guest lodge to anyone planning to visit Harare, or anyone in Harare who just needs time OUT !

This homely, beautiful establishment is one of the best spots I have stayed in, in Africa. Very professionally run with a great atmosphere, delicious food, luxurious and comfortable bedrooms and world class service. Will no doubt stay here everytime I stay in Harare. Thanks Sam.

We have been using Highmel Services as our water delivery company for three years. What I can say is that 9 out of 10 times they will deliver your water to you within two days of ordering. Their water is clean and safer than that from the council. They offer a reasonably priced service compared to the other delivery companies. From time to time they might be overwhelmed because of unforseen events such as the City Council going on strike and cutting off water to more residential areas. Here they might do with better communication to their customers, otherwise I would have given them 10 out of 10. They don't just do water too, they also sell lawn for your garden.
