About MyDestination.com:

My Destination Zimbabwe is part of the My Destination network. A global network of sites created in 2006 by two young entrepreneurs, James Street & Neil Waller. My Destination is focused on providing websites that offer unrivalled levels of local information, actually written by locals. Each site is run by a team on the ground in each destination who have their fingers on the pulse and are providing real time information. The websites combine accurate information on the local area and businesses with the added usability of an online booking engine, offering travellers a one-stop shop where they can research and book their holiday on a single website.
The websites are fresh and simple in design, with a firm focus on quality and quantity of content. Reviews are always written first-hand and every effort is taken to obtain the best images and information available in order to present a true representation of the services on offer. User-generated content and feedback is also built into the website, building upon content quantity and accuracy; major features of the service we provide.

Heading up My Destination Zimbabwe - Jules Retzlaff

Jules has lived in Zimbabwe most of her life, apart from a two year working/holiday in the UK , where she travelled around Europe and South America with her two sisters. Jules and husband Ant, live on a dairy farm about 40km east of Harare along with their two children Louise and Paul.

Jules has always enjoyed working with computers, since leaving school she has been involved with different companies in supporting/teaching a number of software packages. Subsequently she went on to start her own software support business, concentrating mainly on Farm Business Manager an accounts program designed specifically for farmers. Unfortunately due to the economic situation in Zimbabwe this venture has become practically non-existent. Presently she does the accounts on the farm, and as the kids started boarding school this year, she started looking for a new challenge and that is when she came across MyDestination.com.

Jules and the family love going on holidays around Zimbabwe, one of the favourite places being Kariba and she is very much looking forward to discovering and promoting all the other beautiful places on MyDestination.com/Zimbabwe.
