Frog and Fern Cottages

The Frog & Fern comprises of 3 self catering cottages which are located on the Bridal Veil Falls road, 1.5km from the village of Chimanimani. Each has a fully equipped kitchen and they are serviced daily. Linen is provided. The Frog & Fern Cottages are ideal for either large groups of up to 12 people, or for couples, single business people and families looking for a comfortable base in Chimanimani.

Each cottage is named after the trees which surround it.

Miombo Cottage

Sleeps up to 6 people. One double downstairs with en suite bathroom and 4 singles upstairs. Two jetmaster fireplaces in the central stone chimney make this a warm cottage even during mid winter. Both bathrooms are downstairs one with a shower and the other with a bath. Miombo has a cosy sunken lounge with bay windows, open plan kitchen and dining room. Miombo is close to Msasa and often both cottages are taken if your group consists of 6 people or more.

Msasa Cottage

Sleeps up to 3 people. One double and one single in the same room. Separate kitchen and en suite bath and toilet. This cottage is ideal for honeymooners. Having no stairways or open fire Msasa is popular with couples who have one or two very young children. Being closest to Miombo it is also used by larger groups who wish to be together

Mzanje Cottage

Sleeps up to 3 people in two rooms sharing a shower and loo. Jetmaster fireplace and decked patio area. Having plenty of cupboard space this cottage is an ideal base for the long stay business person or holiday maker. Long stay packages with reduced rates are available.
